Heather Saunders’ art explores the concept of gender as a social construct. She has exhibited in Canada and the US, and is a member of Eyelevel Gallery. She has worked at commercial, not-for-profit, and public galleries, including the National Gallery of Canada. Artist books are a new foray for her, and a natural extension of her practice in fibre art, given that she has worked as an art librarian.
